Add documents to AI models

You can manually add selected documents to the AI models for Epiq Assist and Predictive Coding.

When you add documents to a Predictive Coding model, the system transfers the coding values associated with the documents.

The AI models works with documents that have an greater than 0. If any documents you want to model do not meet that criteria, use the Modify Document Action to adjust the content of this field.

To manually add selected documents to an AI model, complete the following procedure.

  1. In the Main Menu, select .

  2. Identify the document population.

    • Optional. To quickly reference the document population for a model, move the documents to a folder or saved search.

    • Verify that all documents in this population contain Extracted Text. Use Search Builder to find any documents in the population with of 0. If any exist, use the option of the Document Action to increase the field value to greater than 0. For more information, refer to Use Search Builder and Create or modify metadata in Review.

  3. In the pane, click .

  4. In , type a name to identify the job.

  5. In , select one of the following. The options that appear are enabled on your system.

    • . Adds documents to the Epiq Assist model.

    • . Adds documents to the selected Predictive Coding model.

    • . Adds documents to both the Epiq Assist model and the selected Predictive Coding model.

  6. When you add documents to a Predictive Coding model, in , select the model you want to update.

  7. Click .

  8. You can view the status and details of the job in the page or the page in Inspect or Review.
